LCSW, 3 years of experience
New to Grow
My passion is assisting individuals in finding their path forward, and defining that on their terms. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, each with their unique stories, which has further deepened my understanding of the importance of creating a safe, non-judgmental space for growth. I look forward to working with you and helping you take the next step toward achieving a specific goal.
During our first session, we’ll discuss your challenges, therapy goals, and any relevant background. We’ll begin identifying areas for change and set clear goals for our work together. While each session may vary, the first is mainly to help me understand you better and for you to get a sense of my approach. I’ll explain how therapy works and answer any questions. My focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship that supports meaningful progress. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear understanding of how therapy will proceed and what the next steps are. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard and hopeful, with a sense of direction for your path forward—whether that’s with me or through other resources. Your goals are my priority.
I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, find balance, and achieve mental wellness. I want you to thrive, not simply survive.
My approach is grounded in client-centered care utilizing modalities from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused approaches, and much more. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, military-specific issues, and substance abuse. I am committed to creating a therapeutic environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or just seeking to improve your overall well-being, I’m here to support you in a way that’s tailored to your individual needs.
Motivational interviewing is a type of dialogue designed to explore an individuals motivation for change.
