You’ve been feeling overworked, disconnected, and unrecognizable to your core self. You feel tied down by negative thoughts, and overwhelmed with life’s constant transitions. You are ready to break free of old patterns, and in search for understanding, healing, and growth. Together we can process emotional and behavioral burdens, and develop skills to manage the changes that are happening to, and around you. We will work together to examine areas in life that are causing you distress, whether that be relationships, work, school, family, friends, past traumas, or even yourself. I am committed to providing a safe place to explore your barriers and strengths, while implementing systemic and culturally relevant therapies. I provide services for couples, individuals, young adults, teens, families and groups. Daytime hours only at this time.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will be getting to know the specifics of what has brought you into therapy. We will review a brief history of yourself, and give context to the nature of your challenges, and desire to change and manage them.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I find it important to relate and connect with those I work with. I believe my training and experience working with individuals, couples, and families helps me to understand the impact relationships have on the way we behave, think, and feel. I also believe I can foster the type of environment that motivates change.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

With couples, I work towards finding a shared goal, one that will enhance the relationship and create the type of partnership that both people desire. We explore about dynamics and familial patterns impacting the relationship. We will work together to gain new information and skills that can be utilized to foster a healthy environment. This can be for dating relationships, marriage, co-parenting, and divorcing couples.

Family Therapy

In family therapy we work on exploring the dynamics and patterns impacting families. This can include families of all different shapes, sizes, ages, and types. Each family is unique in the way we explore and heal from the patterns that have shaped current ways of relating whether be with parents, children, sibling group, blended and step families.

Supportive

My work with clients involves working through emotional and behavioral burdens, and developing skills to manage the changes that are happening to, and around you. We will work together to examine areas in life that are causing you distress. We will also develop a repertoire of strengths to help mobilize you to be the best version of yourself or selves. I am committed to providing a safe place to explore your barriers and strengths. My hope is that you feel empowered to make the changes that will make you feel better about life.
