Hi there! I’m Ally, your friendly guide through the wild ride of life—kind of like a GPS, but for your mental health (and with fewer recalculating moments). Ever feel like you’re in a tug-of-war with life, trying to balance everything without face-planting? Yeah, me too. Life’s chaotic, and sometimes it feels like the universe threw you a puzzle with missing pieces. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to solve it alone. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is hit pause and take a good, honest look at your own story—where you’ve been, where you’re headed, and maybe even laugh at a few plot twists along the way. Growth doesn’t always have to feel so serious! With over 12 years in the mental health field, I’ve been privileged to share in some pretty amazing journeys. Whether it’s tackling anxiety, depression, relationship hurdles, life curveballs, or addiction, I’m here to help. Think of me as your partner in brainstorming better ways forward, one breakthrough at a time. Therapy can seem intimidating, but trust me, you’re worth every moment of it. If you’re ready to share your story (plot twists and all), let’s dive in and get to work—because your next chapter is waiting to be written, and it’s gonna be a good one!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe in the organic process of therapy, that is meeting you where you are with the issues you bring. In the first sessions, we will begin by discussing your goals for treatment and how therapy works. Later sessions, we will start with the issues which are foremost on your mind and work from there. The time in treatment is about you, not me- so I will not have an agenda. I may remind you about something you said in a previous session and ask you about it, but I will always take my cue from where you are at in any given session, as you will set the direction of the therapeutic work.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Although I work with a variety of issues as noted above, it is the overall adjustment to various life happenings which hold a special interest for me. These transitions can often throw us off balance, creating issues in our relationships or cause of anxiety, depression, etc. Transitions at many stages of life can be so challenging - it can help o have someone to work with to navigate through these rough waters. I can't wait to be that guide for you!

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with both men and women—if you’re a human and ready to dive in, we’re already off to a great start! My favorite clients are those who are pumped to level up but just need the right tools to make it happen. My clients often come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and like life’s throwing them curveballs without a glove. Together, we’ll turn those obstacles into stepping stones.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is essentially a modified form of cognitive behavioral therapy. The main areas I use this in my sessions are to help people live for the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, learn how to regulate their emotions, and improve all relationships in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is the backbone of all therapy. I use CBT to help explain to each client how every thought can lead to a feeling. I will ultimately help you examine your thoughts and beliefs. This results in allowing me to reveal how your distorted thoughts can directly lead to negative feelings. By putting in this work, thought patterns change, and this will lead you to happy and healthier feelings.
