I bring both professional and personal experience to my work as a therapist. Having a bipolar diagnosis has given me a unique perspective on the challenges of navigating the institutional and often stigmatized aspects of mental health and the impact on day-to-day life. This lived experience allows me to approach therapy with empathy, a genuine curiosity and appreciation for each client’s journey. Professionally, I’ve worked in psychiatric residential treatment, addiction medicine, youth detention and family practice settings. These experiences have strengthened my ability to support clients through a wide range of concerns, from mood and anxiety challenges to relationship and life stressors. I utilize a lot of somatic and sensory-based tools focusing on emotion and nervous system regulation, including brainspotting, sound therapy, aromatherapy, meditation techniques and other mindfulness tools. Alongside these approaches, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to examine and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier coping strategies. I have extensive experience supporting clients with addictions, complex PTSD and trauma history, ADHD, BPD, bipolar, schizophrenia and other psychiatric conditions, allowing me to meet individuals with both compassion and clinical expertise. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel supported, reconnect with themselves, cultivate resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
During your first session, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, validated, and respected. We’ll focus on building rapport and trust, so you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences. Together, we’ll explore what you hope to accomplish in therapy and begin to set the foundation for your healing journey, identifying goals and ways to support your growth, self-awareness, and connection to your intuition.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my authenticity and open-mindedness, which allow me to approach therapy in a collaborative, peer-to-peer manner. I have deep expertise in sensory and somatic tools and experience with trauma-focused modalities, including Brainspotting and hypnotherapy, and I integrate sound therapy, aromatherapy, herbal teas, and an overall holistic living approach to support mind-body healing. My personal and professional experience with holistic practices helps clients reconnect with their intuition and foster lasting well-being.
Available to all, my ideal client would be open-minded, vulnerable, committed to inner growth, willing to engage in trauma-focused work and explore somatic and sensory tools for nervous system regulation and healing. They may have experienced trauma, addiction, PTSD, bipolar, schizophrenia, ADHD, BPD and are dedicated to inner work, strengthening intuition and increasing self-awareness/concept.
I use Brainspotting as a powerful modality to access and process unresolved experiences held in the body and nervous system. My approach integrates binaural beats, sound therapy, and principles of certified hypnotherapy to create a deeply focused state where healing can unfold. Sessions emphasize building a clear connection to your own intuition, helping you move beyond limiting patterns and reconnect with inner wisdom. Using the format of Brainspotting, we work together to gently target where the mind and body hold tension, opening space for release, clarity, and lasting change.
I offer DBT to help clients build mindfulness, emotional regulation, and resilience, while integrating sound therapy and aromatherapy to create a calming, sensory-rich experience that supports healing and balance.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while emphasizing emotional awareness and a mindful approach to everyday challenges. Together, we work on recognizing and reframing cognitive distortions, building healthier perspectives, and developing practical tools for resilience and emotional well-being.
