The therapeutic relationship is personal for every individual. The idea of sharing your story to someone can feel scary and overwhelming but can also feel relieving and hopeful. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, phase of life changes, or just need a safe space to process life stressors, therapy can be a positive step in creating change in your life. The challenging part can be finding a therapist that you can trust and is a good fit. Feeling comfortable with your therapist is essential to making progress. I approach therapy as a partnership and provide counseling from a trauma informed and strengths based perspective. I have been a practicing clinician since 2012 helping clients from various backgrounds identify goals that are important to them and have been fortunate to witness many of them achieve their goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is about understanding what is bringing you to services and your goals for therapy. It is an opportunity to understand strengths, struggles and what you want to achieve.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel like my greatest strengths is partnering with clients and helping them develop tools to reach their goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with a wide range of clients, including young adults entering the next phase of their life; individuals who are interested in learning how to manage mental health concerns including anxiety; those in need of processing life stressors.
