My approach begins with the belief that individuals are resilient and may benefit from utilizing their strengths to increase their resilience. I can assist in attaining lifestyle balance, developing healthy coping skills, recognizing your priorities and problem-solving. I believe that every client is an individual and deserves a personalized treatment plan to fit their needs. My clients struggle with anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, counseling for adolescents and families and situational life stress. Taking the first step is never easy, but I am here to support you. Life can be overwhelming and challenging at times. It is important to me to lead with empathy and meet my clients where they are so we can work through the issues together.
I provide a relaxed, casual, friendly, laid-back environment and believe in going at your pace. I will meet you where you at and allow collaborative pacing and tone of the session. I pride myself on being a non-judgmental individual and strive to provide a safe space for everyone I meet.
I offer an eclectic approach of modalities that will best fit the needs of the client. Therapeutic modalities used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative and Solution-focused therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.
