About me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps individuals heal from trauma, addiction, anxiety, and long-standing patterns that interfere with emotional well-being. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I integrate trauma-informed therapy, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, IFS, and somatic/Polyvagal methods to help clients understand their internal world, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, heard, and supported, and I work alongside each person at their own pace to strengthen resilience, reconnect with their values, and build a life aligned with who they want to become.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you don’t have to be anything other than yourself. My style is authentic, down-to-earth, and conversational. I’m not here to judge, lecture, or overwhelm you—I’m here to understand your story, your struggles, and what you want your life to feel like moving forward. My goal in the first session is for you to feel safe, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My work is deeply relational and collaborative. I focus on helping clients understand the “why” behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, especially when these patterns came from trauma, survival instincts, or family-of-origin roles. Clients often tell me that my approach feels grounding, practical, and validating—they feel like they can finally talk openly without judgment or pressure. What truly sets my work apart is the balance of clinical skill, genuine connection, and real-world tools that clients can use immediately. My goal is not only symptom reduction—it’s long-term healing, empowerment, and helping clients build a life that feels aligned with their values, strengths, and purpose.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to heal the parts of themselves that have been shaped by trauma, addiction, or long-standing emotional patterns. They may feel overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or exhausted by carrying responsibilities that were never theirs to bear. They want support in learning healthier coping skills, setting boundaries, and understanding their triggers. They may be navigating early recovery, rebuilding family relationships, or reconnecting with their sense of self. Above all, my ideal client is open to exploring their inner world with curiosity and compassion, and is seeking a safe, grounded therapeutic relationship where they can heal at their own pace and rediscover their strength and purpose.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and integrate this approach into all aspects of my clinical work as an LMFT. I have extensive experience treating clients with complex trauma, PTSD, substance use disorders, domestic violence histories, and multigenerational trauma. My approach is grounded in creating emotional and psychological safety, building trust, supporting autonomy, and helping clients understand how trauma affects their thoughts, emotions, nervous system, and relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my work with individuals navigating trauma, substance use recovery, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. CBT is a core modality in my practice because it helps clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how these patterns are shaped by past experiences, including trauma and family systems.
