Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session I will ensure we address confidentiality. I would like to develop a rapport with you, and I do so by engaging in asking exciting things about you, like fav music, your talents and hobbies, what makes you unique. I would like to understand that decision that brought you into therapy so we can prioritize your concerns. I will provide active listening to ensure we can develop a plan tailored to your treatment goals. I will strive to make sure to provide a safe environment for you. My hope is you leave your 1st session feeling heard and respected but most of all ready to engage in the therapeutic process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Understanding that the client is the expert and I here to bring a team approach in empowering them to do what is best. My strengths are being compassionate and understanding.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy engaging with Clients from all walks of life. I enjoy empowering women, and young adults that may be dealing with the stressors of life and to find ways to manage those stressors. I also enjoy engaging with military Clients (active-duty members/Veterans) to help them process all those challenges that come with serving in the military and when they are out of the military. Transitioning from the military can be difficult but any phrase of life involving transition can be difficult, but I am here to help find ways to process it, so you no longer feel stuck. My focus is also for those acknowledging the need to make positive changes for their lives. Whether that is someone struggling with “stinking thinking” which leads to depression and anxiety and associate with trauma and grief. We all struggle with the challenges in our lives no matter where it shows up. I am here to be an active listener and my client’s biggest cheerleader to help promote a positive change in their life.
