New to Grow
Adrienne is a licensed, attachment-focused therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, and adults seeking to heal their inner child and process trauma. She utilizes evidence-based approaches such as EMDR and DBT to help clients better understand their emotional patterns and build healthier, more secure relationships with themselves and others. Adrienne’s holistic, compassionate approach is deeply shaped by her own personal healing journey and a strong commitment to supporting whole-person wellness and long-term emotional growth.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a time for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive connection. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can expect a direct yet compassionate approach, with gentle reflections and clarity around patterns that may be showing up in your life. We’ll also discuss goals, the therapy process, and what support between sessions may look like. This session is about connection, clarity, and determining if we’re a good fit moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is supporting clients in reframing their perspectives and thought processes. With supportive, honest feedback, I challenge clients to stay open to new ways of thinking and healing.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
The ideal client is someone who is ready to actively engage in their healing journey and willing to be self-reflective. This client is open to exploring how past experiences and current patterns impact their emotional well-being and relationships. They can tolerate a direct, honest therapeutic approach and are open to feedback that supports growth. The ideal client understands that therapy is a collaborative process and is willing to practice skills and try new experiences outside of session time. While change may feel uncomfortable at times, this client is motivated, curious, and committed to personal growth, emotional awareness, and lasting healing.
EMDR
With EMDR, I guide clients in uncovering negative beliefs rooted in trauma and support them through the reprocessing needed for healing and growth.
