New to Grow
Feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges? You don't need to do it alone. Therapy can offer you a safe, non-judgmental space to that allows you to explore your experiences by slowing down, reflecting and being fully heard. I have been a therapist for 11 plus years. I have trained in different treatment types that enables me to work with helps individuals to navigate anxiety, relationship patterns, grief, chronic medical issues, and life transitions with compassion and clarity. I integrate trauma informed care, cognitive processing therapy, somatic therapy, internal family systems, trauma informed care, and cognitive behavioral therapy to support healing at a pace that feels safe and collaborative. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and supported as you move toward meaningful change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space where you’re encouraged to show up just as you are. We’ll start by talking about what is bring you to therapy, how your mental health is affecting you, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, your strengths, and what feels most important for us to focus on. Additionally, we will discuss what therapy can look like, how we’ll work together, what approaches I may use, and how we can make sure the process feels grounding and empowering for you. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more settled about the path ahead.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my approach is the way I show up as real, warm, and deeply attuned. I’m compassionate and curious, but also steady and honest, which helps clients feel both supported and grounded. I integrate evidence‑based methods like TF-CBT, trauma informed, Internal Family Systems, parts work, EMDR, somatic therapy, and cognitive processing, always at a pace that honors safety, consent, and collaboration. Clients have shared that they appreciate how I help them understand their patterns, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with their strengths in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where healing feels possible, sustainable, and genuinely aligned with who they are becoming.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I support clients facing ADHD, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, infertility, postpartum depression, grief, chronic illness, anxiety, and more. Every story is unique, and I take time to understand what brings you to therapy and whether my approach aligns with your needs.
Trauma Informed Care
I received my advanced training in Trauma Informed Care from Syracuse University in 2015. Trauma‑informed care is a foundational lens rather than a single technique. My training includes extensive work in trauma‑informed approaches, EMDR, somatic processing, and family systems. By using these modalities I'm able to prioritize safety, empowerment, and collaboration with patients.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and use it to help clients understand how traumatic or highly stressful experiences have shaped their beliefs about themselves, others, and the world. CPT is a structured, evidence‑based approach that supports clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, exploring where they come from, and developing more balanced and empowering ways of understanding their experiences.
Forensic Psychology
I have extensive experience in Forensic Psychology through my work in providing assessments for the court system & New York Department of Corrections.
Faith based therapy
In my practice, faith‑based therapy is available for clients who want to integrate their spiritual or religious beliefs into the healing process. I honor each person’s unique faith background and use it as a source of strength, grounding, and meaning.
Somatic
Somatic therapy is an important part of my trauma‑informed approach, and I use it to help clients reconnect with their bodies as a source of information, safety, and healing. Trauma often shows up physically—through tension, numbness, restlessness, or a sense of disconnection. By incorporating the body into therapy, we can create deeper, more sustainable change.
