New to Grow
I’m a therapist with over 10 years of experience in behavioral health. My work is shaped by real-life experiences, my own and those of the people I’ve connected with over the years. Many experiences inspired me to become a therapist and showed me how powerful it can be when we use our experiences, even the difficult ones, to grow and move forward.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to work on. I’ll listen to your story, ask questions to understand your experiences, and we’ll start setting some goals together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength as a therapist is making people feel safe, cared for, and truly understood. I show up with warmth, patience, and genuine curiosity about your story. Even if you’re unsure how to express what you’re feeling, I’m good at gently helping you find the words and uncover what’s really going on inside. More than anything, I’m deeply committed to you feeling seen and valued. I want our time together to be a place where you can breathe, drop your shoulders, and feel safe enough to do the meaningful inner work that leads to real, lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with people who are dealing with life changes, feeling stuck, or struggling with anxiety, stress, or relationships. If you’re at a crossroads or feeling overwhelmed, I can help you process your feelings and experiences and find a way forward. My ideal client is someone who’s ready to make changes and needs a little guidance along the way.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help clients build insight into how their thoughts influence how they feel and act, and together we explore new, more supportive ways of thinking and coping. I incorporate tools such as thought tracking, cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure-based strategies, and mindfulness.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I support clients in understanding their emotional triggers, building practical coping strategies, and learning how to navigate intense feelings.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I guide clients in developing awareness of unhelpful patterns of avoidance or self-judgment, and we work together to cultivate acceptance and self-compassion.
