I am a therapist who believes healing happens through awareness, connection, and feeling truly understood. I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective and incorporate present-moment exploration, psychoeducation, and attachment awareness. I strive to create a space that is culturally sensitive, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each client’s lived experience. I view therapy as a partnership, where my role is to offer reflection, curiosity, and guidance while honoring each client’s innate capacity for insight, growth, and change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your background and current challenges to better understand how to support you. It’s completely normal to feel nervous, and we’ll take things step by step at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, my role is to help hold up a mirror, offering insight and perspective, while trusting that you already carry the answers within yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to attune deeply to clients while remaining grounded and present in the moment. I integrate trauma-informed, strengths-based, and attachment-focused approaches with present-moment exploration and psychoeducation, allowing clients to gain both insight and practical tools. Clients often share that they feel genuinely seen and supported, while also being gently challenged to increase awareness and create meaningful, sustainable change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with thoughtful, driven adults who often feel the pressure to hold everything together while managing anxiety, relationship challenges, or the effects of trauma. I help clients build awareness, resilience, and practical tools to navigate stress and create meaningful change. Our work is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to what feels achievable for you.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I view trauma through a broad, humanistic lens and believe that all individuals experience some form of trauma that shapes how they relate to themselves and others. In my practice, I integrate this understanding by helping clients explore how past experiences, including attachment dynamics, influence current patterns, emotions, and relationships. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and understand different parts of themselves that have developed in response to these experiences, creating space for increased awareness, regulation, and healing. My approach is flexible and tailored to each client, allowing treatment to evolve based on their needs, goals, and readiness.

Gestalt

My experience with Gestalt therapy centers on increasing awareness of the client’s present-moment experience. I focus on what is happening in the here and now, including emotions, body sensations, thoughts, and relational dynamics that arise during the session. In my practice, I actively identify and gently call attention to patterns, shifts, and inconsistencies as they emerge in the moment, helping clients notice how they engage with themselves and others. This approach supports clients in developing greater self-awareness, responsibility, and choice, allowing for meaningful change through direct experience rather than solely insight.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I practice culturally sensitive therapy by being deeply mindful of the ways culture, identity, and lived experiences impact how clients understand themselves and the world around them. I create space for open dialogue about cultural influences, systemic stressors, and values, and I integrate this awareness into the therapeutic process. My approach emphasizes respect, curiosity, and collaboration, allowing clients to feel seen and understood within the context of their unique cultural identities.

Strength-Based

I use a strength-based approach by intentionally focusing on clients’ resilience, abilities, and personal resources. I help clients identify moments of strength, adaptability, and success, even in the midst of difficulty, and we build on these qualities throughout the therapeutic process. This approach supports empowerment, self-efficacy, and meaningful change while honoring the client as the expert of their own experience.

Psychoeducation

I provide psychoeducation by offering clear, practical information that helps clients understand themselves more fully. This includes teaching coping skills, communication tools, and nervous system awareness, such as polyvagal-informed concepts, and connecting this knowledge directly to what clients are experiencing in their daily lives. I aim to present psychoeducation in a supportive, collaborative way that empowers clients to make sense of their responses and develop effective strategies for regulation and connection.
