New to Grow
I am a compassionate, client-centered clinician committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. I work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate life’s challenges, build effective coping skills, and develop greater insight into their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, attachment-based work, and trauma-informed care. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals, meeting clients where they are and supporting meaningful, lasting change. I value empowerment, self-compassion, and helping clients move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing what brought you to therapy. We’ll begin by getting to know each other, discussing your current concerns, and exploring your goals for therapy. This session is an opportunity for you to ask questions about the process, understand what therapy with me will look like, and begin building a collaborative relationship based on trust and understanding.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths lie in creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard. I combine evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care with a personalized, collaborative style. I excel at helping clients develop practical coping skills, build self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives, even if they’re not quite sure where to start. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, emotional ups and downs, relationship challenges, or the lingering impact of past experiences or trauma. You might find yourself stuck in unhelpful patterns, struggling with self-doubt, people-pleasing, or difficulty managing emotions. I work best with clients who are open to reflection, skill-building, and developing healthier ways of coping, at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You value a collaborative, supportive therapeutic relationship and want practical tools you can apply in your daily life, not just insight. You may be navigating life transitions, working through attachment or relationship concerns, or seeking to build stronger boundaries and self-compassion. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and help you move toward greater emotional balance, self-awareness, and confidence, we may be a good fit. Together, we can work toward goals that align with your values and support long-term growth and healing.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a practical, skills-based approach to help clients build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness skills. In my practice, I integrate DBT techniques to support clients in managing intense emotions, reducing impulsive behaviors, and developing healthier coping strategies. I tailor DBT skills to each client’s goals, helping them apply these tools in real-life situations to create meaningful and sustainable change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop more balanced, realistic perspectives. CBT techniques are used in a practical and supportive way to help clients build effective coping skills, reduce symptoms, and create positive, lasting changes in daily life.
Narrative
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore and reframe the stories they tell about themselves and their experiences. In my practice, I support clients in separating their identity from the challenges they face, highlighting strengths, values, and moments of resilience. This approach empowers clients to develop more compassionate and empowering narratives that align with who they are and who they want to become.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relationships and attachment patterns influence their current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. In my practice, I focus on creating a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship where clients can explore these patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop more secure ways of connecting with others. This approach supports healing, self-compassion, and healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizing safety, trust, and collaboration in the therapeutic process. In my work, I support clients in understanding how trauma may affect their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while helping them build coping skills, resilience, and a sense of empowerment. Care is tailored to each client’s needs, honoring their strengths and promoting healing at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
