Hi, I’m Justin, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience supporting adults with anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and relationship stress. My approach is compassionate, structured, and grounded in evidence-based treatment, including EMDR, CBT, and DBT-informed skills. I believe therapy should feel both safe and effective—where you feel deeply understood while also gaining tools that lead to meaningful change. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where healing feels possible.
In our first session, we’ll focus on helping you feel comfortable and supported while getting a clear understanding of what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’d like to change or feel differently in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, but there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to share. Before we end, we’ll identify goals for therapy and create a plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and tailored to you.
I aim to be warm, grounded, and easy to talk to—even when the topics are difficult. My approach is supportive and nonjudgmental, while still being direct enough to help you create real change. I help clients better understand what’s happening internally, learn practical coping strategies, and work through the deeper issues that keep patterns repeating. My goal is for therapy to feel both safe and effective—where you feel understood and empowered.
I’m best positioned to help adults who feel stuck in anxiety, chronic stress, trauma responses, or painful relationship patterns. Many of my ideal clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally—overthinking, people-pleasing, emotionally reactive, or carrying unresolved experiences that continue to affect their daily life. I’m a great fit for clients who want both emotional support and practical tools, while also being open to deeper healing work (including EMDR when appropriate). My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally free.

I am EMDR-trained and use a phase-based approach to help adults work through trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. I begin with stabilization and resourcing to build emotional regulation and nervous system safety before moving into trauma processing. Using EMDR, I help clients reprocess “stuck” memories that continue to trigger symptoms such as panic, hypervigilance, shame, or relationship patterns. My goal is lasting change—helping clients feel more grounded, empowered, and free from the past.
I integrate DBT-based treatment to help adults improve emotion regulation, reduce impulsive or self-defeating patterns, and strengthen interpersonal effectiveness. I use DBT skills training to support clients struggling with anxiety, mood instability, anger, relationship conflict, and difficulty managing distress. Sessions are structured and practical—focused on skill-building, problem-solving, and real-life application between sessions. DBT supports clients in creating lasting change while also building self-compassion and resilience.
I use CBT to help adults better understand and change the thought and behavior patterns that drive anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. Therapy is structured and evidence-based, with a strong focus on skill-building, mindset shifts, and measurable progress. I help clients challenge core beliefs, reduce avoidance, and build more effective coping and communication strategies. CBT supports clients in feeling more confident, emotionally balanced, and empowered in their day-to-day life.

Justin continues to be such a great presence to talk to. He's warm, encouraging, and helps me feel like I'm not in this alone.

Justin was warm, engaging, and easy to talk to. He brought great energy and personality to our sessions. He was open about his Christian values while remaining respectful of my own perspective. Most importantly, I felt empowered to be true to myself and appreciated the way he supported that. I felt this from our first couple of sessions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a therapist who is personable, open-minded, and grounded in his faith.

Justin is the first therapist I've ever had, but I am so glad that he is the first. I appreciate the way he asks questions and communicates overall. I feel comfortable diving in, and I feel encouraged to communicate more. He feels like someone who can help me understand what brought me to therapy and grow deeper in my knowledge of self.
