About me

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience helping people manage stress, anxiety, depression, and life changes. I see therapy as a supportive space where you can feel heard while also learning tools that make a real difference outside of sessions. I use a mix of approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, depending on what fits you best. My goal is to help you feel understood, gain clarity, and build confidence in moving forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, your current challenges, and what’s been working (or not working) for you so far. You don’t need to prepare anything—just come as you are. Together, we’ll start to map out what you’d like to focus on and set a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the steps ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With 20 years of clinical experience, I bring both depth and flexibility to my work as a therapist. My greatest strengths are creating a safe, judgment-free space and tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs. I am skilled at using evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy, while also drawing from mindfulness and relational work. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and help them see things in new ways. I combine compassion with practicality so therapy feels both supportive and effective.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who are ready for life to feel different but aren’t sure where to start. Many of my clients come in feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or weighed down by relationship stress or major transitions. You don’t need to have all the answers—you just need a willingness to talk openly and try new ways of coping. If you want a safe, supportive space to explore what’s going on and find tools that actually work, we’ll be a strong fit.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I use an eclectic approach, drawing from evidence-based methods such as CBT, ACT, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques. This allows me to tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs, values, and goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. My focus is on meeting clients where they are, combining structure with flexibility to help them build practical skills, insight, and confidence in navigating challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together we work on identifying unhelpful patterns and practicing new ways of thinking and responding. This approach gives clients practical tools they can use both in and outside of sessions.
