Before our first session, you’ll complete an intake form to share what’s bringing you to therapy and the goals you’d like to work on. You’ll also fill out a few assessment tools, which will help me better understand your concerns and identify areas to focus on in our work together. In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other. I’ll provide empathy, compassion, and understanding as we begin exploring your concerns. Together, we’ll refine your goals and start building a treatment plan to guide our work and track progress over time. Throughout our sessions, I’ll ask questions in a supportive, non-pressuring way to better understand your situation while focusing on building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship.
