Hello, and thank you for viewing my profile! I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 10 years providing mental health services to adults, teens, and children. My primary areas of focus include depression, anxiety, infertility, and stress management. I believe therapy should be engaging, supportive, and responsive. I use approaches that have been proven effective including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, behavioral activation, mind-body techniques, and mindfulness. I invite you to reach out to me to see if I am a good fit for your needs. Know that you are not alone in your feelings and help does exist. You have already taken the first step toward feeling better, and I commend you for it!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will begin with brief introductions. I will gather information that will help me to better assess the various challenges and issues you are facing. The last few minutes of session will be spent discussing your goals and setting up a plan for frequency of sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients most often comment that they enjoy the empathy and expertise that I bring into our therapy sessions. I also specialize in fertility issues after my journey with infertility. Particular issues include non-traditional family building, loss, ART, gamete or embryo donation, and postpartum depression and anxiety.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am willing to work with almost anyone who is motivated to seek out healthy coping and is looking for support in guidance in doing so.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

This encompasses many therapeutic approaches I use that are based on each client's individual needs.

Interpersonal

Each treatment method is individually based on client's needs. Interpersonal effectiveness is one of the 4 pillars of dialectical behavioral therapy to improve interpersonal relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Each treatment method is individually based on client's needs. Mindfulness therapy is a technique used to help improve mood by helping individuals practice being present in the current moment and to increase overall awareness.
