LICSW, 11 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to supporting clients with compassion, creativity, and a multicultural perspective. Beyond my work, I am a mom to 4 (three adult children and one little) who values family and connection. Music, humor, and creative expression bring balance to my life, and I integrate that same spirit of authenticity and openness into my practice. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be. Whether we focus on managing symptoms, processing past experiences, or building resilience for the future, I’ll walk alongside you every step of the way.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and creating a safe, supportive space for you to share what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your history, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll talk through your goals and begin outlining a plan tailored to your needs, so you leave the session with a sense of direction and clarity about the next steps. This is also a chance for you to ask me questions and get a feel for how I work, making sure it feels like a good fit.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are bringing creativity and humor (when appropriate) into sessions while offering a person-centered, compassionate approach. I value each client’s unique cultural background and life experiences, and I work to make therapy feel authentic, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, or simply the weight of daily stress. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can be fully yourself, without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward understanding your story, building on your strengths, and creating strategies that help you feel more balanced and in control. With a multicultural background and fluency in English, Spanish, and Japanese, I bring a unique, culturally sensitive approach to therapy. I believe healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and understood, and I aim to create that experience for every client I work with.
CBT is one of the main approaches I integrate into sessions. CBT is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected. By making small, intentional changes in one area, we can positively impact the others.
