I am Sabrina Fiaz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes deeply in the power of human connection, compassion, and growth. My passion for this work comes from walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and create meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. My work is rooted in compassion and authenticity, with a focus on building trust and empowering clients to discover their strengths. I believe every person has the ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change when given the right support and tools. Beyond addressing challenges, I encourage clients to explore their hopes, values, and goals, by helping them uncover what truly matters to them and how to build a life aligned with those values. My role is not to “fix” but to guide, support, and collaborate, fostering confidence and resilience along the way. My goal is to help clients not only overcome obstacles but also grow into the fullest version of themselves, with confidence, connection, and purpose.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and creating a comfortable space for you to share your story. We’ll explore your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll plan future sessions that meet your needs and pace.
My greatest strengths lie in providing client-centered care that is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. I adapt my approach to each individual’s needs, empowering them to explore, heal, and grow at their own pace.
I do not have “ideal” clients because I believe every person deserves a therapist who truly believes in them. My role is to adapt to each individual’s needs, creating a safe, supportive space where they can explore, grow, and navigate their unique therapeutic journey at their own pace.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and improve emotional regulation. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs, fostering lasting personal growth and resilience.
I apply Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients deepen emotional awareness, strengthen secure attachment, and improve communication. Through guided exploration of emotions and relationship patterns, I support individuals and couples in fostering connection, healing relational wounds, and creating lasting, supportive bonds.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. My approach balances validation with change strategies, supporting clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and fostering greater stability and well-being in daily life.
I provide culturally sensitive therapy by honoring clients’ diverse backgrounds, values, and experiences. I create a safe, inclusive space that respects cultural identity, integrates culturally relevant perspectives, and empowers clients to navigate challenges while fostering resilience, healing, and meaningful growth within their cultural context.
I practice trauma-informed care by prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment. I recognize the impact of trauma on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and integrate compassionate, strengths-based interventions that promote healing, resilience, and recovery while honoring each client’s lived experiences and individual journey.
