LCSW, 22 years of experience
Great to meet you! I’m an LCSW providing virtual therapy throughout Georgia. My goal is to offer a convenient and safe space where you can prioritize your mental and emotional well-being. With extensive experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges, I am dedicated to helping you cultivate balance, emotional clarity, and meaningful change. As a wife, mother, and professional, I understand how difficult it can be to prioritize yourself—yet doing so is essential for long-term growth and healing. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by past experiences or future worries, I’m here to support you.
Our first session together will last about an hour. You’ll have the opportunity to share openly and relieve the pressure of carrying things on your own. I’ll ask specific questions to learn about your history, strengths, and current needs. The focus of this initial meeting is building rapport, understanding your goals, and determining how I can best support you. Many clients leave the first session feeling heard, validated, and relieved to have a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to truly meet individuals where they are. I take pride in creating a space where individuals feel heard, valued, and understood, which allows us to build a strong foundation of trust. I know I’ve made a positive impact when I see their progress, return for additional sessions, and their ability to acknowledge even small wins to support them in their journey. I am committed to helping individuals develop hope, gain new insights, and build confidence by making realistic progress toward change.
I work well with individuals who seek support, even if they’re unsure how to ask for help or where to begin. If you have a desire for change and are open to self-exploration and growth, we’ll work well together. I’ve had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of individuals, whether new to therapy or returning, by helping them discover they empower an ability to make meaningful changes.
I use CBT to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns that influence emotions and behavior. We work together to recognize distorted thoughts, build healthier coping skills, and develop practical strategies for real-life situations. I guide clients through exercises and gentle skills practice between sessions, helping them see that meaningful change is both possible and sustainable.
I incorporate attachment-based work to help clients understand how early relationships shape current emotional patterns, communication styles, and relationship dynamics. Together, we identify old wounds, explore unmet needs, and create healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others. This approach helps clients strengthen self-worth, establish secure relationships, and break patterns that no longer serve them.
I use DBT-informed techniques to support clients in building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach is especially helpful for individuals who feel overwhelmed by intense emotions or struggle with communication and boundaries. In therapy, we practice skills step-by-step so you can respond to challenges with clarity and confidence.
I utilize this approach to help clients increase awareness, develop emotional resilience, and build tools that support long-term well-being. Sessions focus on practical, evidence-based strategies you can apply daily to create lasting and meaningful change.
I integrate compassion-focused strategies to help clients reduce self-criticism, build self-acceptance, and foster a kinder relationship with themselves. This method is especially effective for clients who feel shame, guilt, or negative self-talk. Together, we develop practices that nurture warmth, self-understanding, and emotional balance.
