Allow me the opportunity to assist you on this journey we call life. As a clinician with over 25 years in the mental health field, I am an advocate for emotional healthcare and an active ally for improving relational intelligence. Life and relationships can be tough due to trauma, stress and/or frustration, but wisdom is getting support and tools to navigate it better. I am dedicated to helping improve your overall well-being and helping you show up in the world as your healthy authentic self. My training includes Gottman's Couple's Therapy Level 1 & 2, Prepare/Enrich, and I am able to help manage anxiety or mild trauma issues using EMDR techniques. I can also offer Christian or biblical-based support for clients if requested. Let's work through the internal and relational challenges together and get you on your way to "Perissos" (abundance). Take a step toward Perissos for your body, mind, and spirit!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will familiarize ourselves with each other and dive into some of your social, emotional and mental health history. We will also overview the challenges and concerns you currently have and what you need support with in order to help come up with treatment goals and frequency of visits for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Pre-Marital/Marital work is my passion! Sound relationships are the building blocks of family, community and society. True love and appreciations starts with one's own health and flows to others. I offer tools, psychoeducation, handouts and both in and out-of-session activities for my clients who are ready to do the practical and existential work to help love win.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am open to working with all ethnicity, race and religions but I have a professional goal to be of support to those of Black and African American or other minority backgrounds to decrease stigma around mental healthcare.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, understand how thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and develop practical coping strategies that promote emotional regulation, resilience, and healthier decision-making in daily life.

Gottman method

I use the Gottman Method to support couples in strengthening communication, managing conflict effectively, increasing emotional connection, and building trust through evidence-based tools that foster friendship, mutual respect, and long-term relationship stability.
