LCSW, 7 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello, I'm Cassandra David and I have over seven years of experience treating professionals. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, low self-worth, attachment wounds, depression and the lasting impact of family and cultural expectations. My approach is functional, addressing factors such as movement, nutrition, and sleep hygiene to improve mental health outcomes. I often work with clients whom have been in therapy before and have a good level of awareness. They understand "why they think this way" but are looking for "now what do I do about it".
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and establish a strong foundation for our work together. I’ll guide you through identifying your goals, examining your current routines and habits, and highlighting the areas that may be holding you back. From there, we’ll develop a structured, actionable plan that addresses these issues directly, giving you clear steps forward so you feel both supported and empowered from the very start.
What stands out about my approach is it's functional, whole-person focus. I look at all areas of your life, routines, habits, mindset and environment and integrate them into the work we do together. By connecting these different realms, we create practical strategies that not only move you towards your goals but lead to meaningful, lasting change you can see and feel.
I help high-achieving professionals stuck in patterns shaped by attachment wounds and generational trauma. Our first sessions dive deep into your story, what you’ve been carrying, what you want to change, and what’s been missing from past attempts to heal. Together, we’ll create a clear, customized plan so you know exactly how we’ll move forward. Progress means feeling safer in your relationships, building a productive, supportive routine, connecting more deeply with yourself, and using coping skills that actually work daily. My functional approach supports both mind and body to help you create lasting change faster.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is utilized to help my clients understand the connection between their feelings, thoughts and actions. CBT helps a client disengage in negative thinking patterns and reframe their way of thinking.
Attachment-based interventions are utilized to help understand how you show up in interpersonal relationships, explore issues of co-dependency or avoidance.
Psychodynamic approach is used to help you better understand how past experiences have shaped your behavior and actions.
