People remark that my sense of humor and deep knowledge base are particularly effective. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the 1st session I collect information to help with diagnosis and treatment planning. I will want to know what your current complaints are and the success of any past therapy. I will also collect a brief family history and get to know your primary therapy goals. During the first session both of us are also trying to assess if we are a good fit for a therapeutic relationship

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I explain what I am doing and why and give you options for treatment based on your current needs. Clients appreciate the fact that I can explain complex neurological and medical information in ways that are easy to understand

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am most effective with clients that appreciate a collaborative approach that involves psycho education and regular skill building and practice between sessions.
