About me

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of CT. I received my MSW from Fordham University and enjoy providing support and assistance to adults struggling with a large variety of mental/emotional struggles. I truly believe that everyone has the power and ability to overcome life's struggles and my job is too help them find it! I also come from a trauma focused perspective and recognize that previous trauma contributes to one's inability to recognize the control they have to improve life circumstances.

Melissa, my therapist, has a truly open-minded and welcoming approach. She makes me feel comfortable and safe sharing my thoughts without fear of judgment. She listens with genuine care, respects my perspective, and offers thoughtful guidance that feels supportive rather than pushy. Her warm demeanor and compassionate nature create an environment where it’s easy to be honest and vulnerable. I always leave our sessions feeling heard, understood, and encouraged to continue my personal growth.

Melissa was honest, real and didn’t sugar coat anything. She talked to you like you’re a real person and didn’t say things so you keep seeing her and like her. She made it clear if you feel she’s not a great match to help you be honest and she will help you find someone else!
