(she/her)
I use a collaborative approach with my clients to develop and work toward their personal goals. I offer a safe and inclusive space for my clients to explore their identities, relationships, needs, and desires. I have experiences working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families in a variety of settings, but most recently in direct, outpatient counseling delivered virtually from the comfort of my clients' homes, which I love!
If you work with me, you can expect to feel empowered, valued, and safe (and you will probably laugh some, too!). A first session together will be a mixture of getting to know each other and talking about our hopes and dreams for therapy! I can't wait to meet you.
I am told that I am warm, open-minded, empathic, and humorous in my sessions and as a therapist. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community, a mother, and a feminist, and these parts of myself deeply impact my work and connection with my clients.
I have specialized training in relationship counseling (including non-traditional relationships/ENM), LGBTQIA+ issues, gender identity, parent coaching, ADHD/neurodivergence, and perinatal mental health. I am a part of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, a feminist, ADHD, and a mother and I believe these parts of myself allow me to connect deeply with my clients.
I highlight clients' strengths in order to help bolster their self-esteem about tackling their goals.
I have specialized training in working with gender identity questions, trans folx, and the impacts of these across the lifespan and on relationships.
I have specialty training and experience in working with couples, families, nontraditional relationships, ENM/polyamory, and kink dynamics.
My approach with my clients is specific to each person and will combine an eclectic combination of treatment modalities.
