My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) has become the cornerstone of my work with clients. I have learned that many people are suffering, at least in part, due to misalignments with their values. ACT provides an opportunity to explore feelings and commit to actions that align with personal values and create a fulfilling life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behavior can be a new concept for some individuals. I utilize principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help people realize this relationship and learn ways to cope with unhelpful thoughts by challenging them with reality-based thoughts. When clients embody these principles, they develop skills to cope with the challenges of daily life and cope with symptoms of disorders such as anxiety and depression.

Interpersonal

An individual will develop many relationships over their lifetime; we are social creatures after all. Unfortunately, some relationships become more challenging than others, whether it is with a romantic partner, family member, or coworker. I use interpersonal therapy to assist clients with understanding and improving these relationships, which in turn can improve their mental health.

Existential

Struggling to find meaning and purpose in your life? Existential therapy may be what you need. This treatment method provides the space for individuals to explore the deeper meanings of life and foster self-awareness and personal growth.
