With over three decades of experience in mental health, I provide a compassionate and thorough approach to assist you in reaching your objectives within a secure and nurturing environment. My method is centered on the client and leverages strengths, employing a variety of techniques such as DBT, CBT, and ACT. My experiences have shaped me into a person of deep compassion and warmth, qualities I deeply enjoy sharing with others. Let's begin this journey together. I am here to offer support at every step.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session, we will focus on understanding each other and the challenges you are encountering. Together, we will develop a customized treatment plan designed to support your growth and address your specific needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In my own life, I've encountered numerous challenges and have learned the importance of opening up, healing, and accepting support from others. I know it's difficult to seek help and support, but it's a worthwhile endeavor—you are worth it.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

My work with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and in residential facilities for youth has provided me with significant insights and skills. I've found that we all face challenges, and employing DBT techniques can greatly assist in navigating these obstacles.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will equip you with the tools necessary to foster self-awareness through compassion, challenge negative thoughts, learn reframing techniques, and begin a daily practice.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my practice, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as I find that mindfulness and behavioral activation contribute to enhancing clients' psychological flexibility. I hold the conviction that pursuing personal values and fostering positive behaviors, while effectively managing difficult thoughts, emotions, or sensations, is essential for growth.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

I can help you learn how to validate your child and navigate conflicts in a manner that is understanding and respectful to both parties.

Compassion Focused

I am truly sincere and authentic, and I can help you use the tools of self-compassion to promote growth and healing from past experiences.
