About me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience, I’ve helped individuals navigate a wide range of mental health challenges—and I believe real, lasting progress is always possible. What sets my approach apart is the understanding that no two people are the same. Your thoughts, experiences, and emotional world are uniquely yours—so the support you receive should be, too. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I create a safe, supportive space where your individuality is honored and your voice is truly heard. Together, we’ll build a strong, trusting relationship that empowers you to uncover your strengths, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward mental wellness. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, you don't have to walk this path alone. Let’s turn what feels impossible into real, positive change—one step at a time. Let’s take this journey together. Your breakthrough begins now.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming—but it’s also a powerful move toward change. In our first session together, my priority is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. We’ll begin by talking about what brought you in and what you hope to get out of therapy. You don’t need to have all the answers—that’s what we’ll explore together. Using a blend of Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we’ll start identifying what’s working in your life and build on your existing strengths. Rather than staying stuck in the problem, we’ll focus on what positive change could look like for you—and how we can start making that happen. At the same time, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. CBT helps us identify unhelpful patterns and gently challenge them, so you can gain more control over how you feel and respond to life’s challenges. By the end of our first session, you can expect to leave with: A clearer understanding of how therapy works A personalized direction for our work together Small, manageable steps you can begin applying right away The reassurance that you don’t have to face things alone Whether you're coming in with a specific goal or just a sense that something needs to change, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is a journey—and we’ll walk it together, one step at a time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What truly sets my approach apart is my ability to help clients uncover and understand the deeper, often unconscious influences on their mental and emotional well-being. I guide individuals in exploring how the subconscious mind can shape thoughts, behaviors, and emotional responses—often without us realizing it. Another core strength of mine is helping clients identify and process past trauma or examine unhealthy relationships—whether from the past or present—that may still be impacting their current mindset and choices. By bringing these patterns to light in a safe, supportive space, we begin the work of healing and transformation. One of my most impactful skills is helping people shift from negative, limiting thought patterns to more constructive, growth-oriented thinking. Together, we work to reframe challenges as opportunities and build practical tools for problem-solving, resilience, and self-empowerment. Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling not only heard and understood, but equipped with new insights and strategies that create real, lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with young adults ages 16–19 who are navigating the pressures of growing up, identity formation, school stress, social challenges, and the transition into adulthood. This stage of life can feel overwhelming and confusing, and I offer a supportive space to help teens develop self-awareness, build confidence, and learn healthy coping strategies. I also work with adults of all ages up to 60 who are experiencing life transitions, whether it’s a career change, relationship shift, parenting challenges, or a desire to grow and heal from past experiences. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, uncertain, or emotionally drained—and they are ready to make meaningful changes. My ideal clients are those who are open to self-reflection and growth, even if they’re unsure where to start. Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or patterns of negative thinking, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity and purpose.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I’ve been using this therapeutic approach for over 8 years, both in individual sessions and group settings, with consistent and effective results. Throughout my career, I’ve completed specialized trainings to deepen my understanding and application of this method, ensuring that I’m always using the most current and research-supported techniques. While this treatment method forms the foundation of my work, I also integrate other evidence-based modalities—such as Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed practices, and mindfulness techniques—to enhance the overall effectiveness of the therapy. This allows me to tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual, creating a more personalized and holistic path to healing. My goal is always to help clients gain insight, develop practical tools, and move toward lasting positive change—at a pace that feels right for them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Over the years, I’ve used this approach with my clients as a powerful tool to help retrain the brain to think, perceive, and respond in healthier, more constructive ways. By gently challenging negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs, we work together to shift toward a more solution-focused and growth-oriented mindset. This method is especially effective in helping clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through practical techniques and guided self-reflection, I support individuals in developing new mental habits that promote clarity, confidence, and resilience. While this approach is a cornerstone of my practice, I also incorporate complementary therapeutic techniques to tailor the experience to each client’s unique needs—ensuring a well-rounded and personalized path to healing and self-growth.

I've been work with Londa for quite a while and she's helped me see things from multiple perspectives. She challenges me and my opinions and takes me into uncomfortable spaces so we can work through the root of my feelings. She's help me to feel my feelings big time. We work using different approaches for different issues and she is always willing to pivot and address new concerns that pop up. I would recommend her for anyone wanting to explore therapy for the first time or for the 20th time.
