About me

Life can pull us into a whirlwind—whether through a major life event, trauma, or a quiet inner nudge that something needs to change or be rediscovered. Each of us experiences and responds to these moments in our own unique way. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you and support you through your personal journey of healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a space that feels safe, comfortable, and supportive for you. I’ll ask some questions about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been dealing with recently, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You can share as much or as little as you feel ready to. We’ll also talk about how therapy works, confidentiality, and what you can expect from me as your therapist. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you and discuss how I can best support you. There’s no pressure to “perform” or have everything figured out — this session is simply a starting point for building trust and understanding your unique story. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of how we might work together and whether this feels like a good fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, grounded space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. I bring deep empathy, strong emotional attunement, and a steady, calming presence to each session, allowing clients to feel supported even when they are navigating intense or overwhelming experiences. What sets me apart is my ability to flexibly adapt my approach to each individual, rather than treating therapy as “one size fits all.” I combine evidence-based practices with a relational, trauma-informed lens, while maintaining strong ethical boundaries and cultural humility. I believe in empowering clients, not directing them, and I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and self-reflection to ensure that the care I provide is thoughtful, attuned, and effective.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I support individuals facing grief, LGBTQIA+ and transgender concerns, life transitions, OCD, relationship and parenting challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, bipolar disorder, chronic pain, and illness, substance use, stress, self-esteem, and divorce. I provide virtual sessions which allows me to open my practice to people from across the state of California. I have noticed an increase in clients who are seeking therapy for the first time and I attribute this to better accessibility and a greater awareness that they are not alone in what they are going through and that there are solutions.
