About me

I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways. I integrate EMDR, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, and psychodynamic approaches to support clients in understanding their experiences and creating lasting change. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion—I meet clients where they are and walk alongside them at their own pace. Whether you’re working through trauma, life transitions, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, I provide a safe space to explore, heal, and thrive.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming space where they are invited to simply be themselves. I take time to get to know who they are beyond their struggles—listening to their story, values, and what led them to seek support. Together, we’ll explore what they hope to gain from therapy and begin identifying ways I can best support their goals. My intention is to create an atmosphere of safety, curiosity, and collaboration from the very beginning, setting the foundation for meaningful and compassionate work ahead. Understand that I acknowledge what it can be like to either begin therapy for the first time ever or the first time in a while and I am here to make it as smooth as it can be for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a clinician, my greatest strength lies in integrating depth, compassion, and evidence-based approaches to help clients heal and grow. I draw from EMDR to support the safe processing of distressing experiences while fostering resilience and emotional balance. Through psychoeducation, I empower clients with knowledge about their mind and body, helping them make sense of their experiences and take an active role in their healing. Motivational interviewing allows me to meet clients where they are, exploring ambivalence with curiosity and helping them connect to their own motivation for change. My psychodynamic perspective deepens this work by uncovering patterns rooted in early experiences and relationships, allowing for greater self-awareness and lasting transformation. I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, creating a therapeutic space that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering. Above all, I strive to help clients not only find relief from distress but also build a stronger, more compassionate connection to themselves.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to explore their inner world with openness and curiosity, even if they feel uncertain about where to begin. They are motivated to understand themselves more deeply and willing to lean into the therapeutic process, trusting that healing unfolds over time. This client values growth and is open to learning new ways of relating to their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we work collaboratively to create meaningful change, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and a renewed sense of balance.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

With a psychodynamic lens, I help clients explore how past experiences and relationships shape their current patterns, emotions, and behaviors. We work together to bring unconscious processes into awareness and create new ways of relating to oneself and others. I hold space for curiosity and reflection, allowing insight to unfold at a natural pace. This approach supports lasting emotional growth and a deeper sense of self-understanding.

EMDR

In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients process and release the emotional impact of distressing memories or experiences. I guide clients through structured, evidence-based protocols that support the brain’s natural healing process. Together, we work to reduce emotional intensity, shift limiting beliefs, and strengthen adaptive coping. My approach is gentle, client-paced, and centered on safety and empowerment throughout the process.

Psychoeducation

I believe knowledge is a key part of healing, so I integrate psychoeducation to help clients understand how their mind and body respond to stress, trauma, and emotions. I provide practical information and tools that foster awareness and self-compassion. By increasing understanding, clients can make informed choices about their healing journey. This collaborative approach encourages confidence and autonomy in the therapeutic process.

Motivational Interviewing

When using motivational interviewing, I create a supportive space that honors clients’ autonomy and readiness for change. Through reflective listening and open-ended dialogue, I help clients explore their own motivations, values, and goals. Rather than pushing change, I guide clients in uncovering their inner strengths and reasons for growth. This approach nurtures self-efficacy and a deeper connection to personal purpose.
