I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel supportive, comfortable, and genuine. I take a compassionate, down-to-earth approach and work collaboratively with my clients to help them navigate life’s challenges, better understand themselves, and create meaningful change. I strive to provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and work toward the life and relationships you want.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, judgment-free space. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll begin identifying your goals and creating a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to you.

Strengths

I bring compassion, honesty, patience, and a genuine sense of connection to each session. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, so I strive to create a relaxed, judgment-free environment where you can talk openly about what is really going on. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative—I won’t simply sit back and listen; I’ll help you identify patterns, explore different perspectives, build practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful solutions. I recognize that no two people are the same, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs, strengths, experiences, and goals.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, stuck, or simply unsure of how to move forward. You may be navigating trauma, relationship or family challenges, major life transitions, grief, stress, or struggles with self-esteem and identity. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—just a willingness to show up and work toward change. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, break patterns that are no longer serving them, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic.

Treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals in a supportive and nonjudgmental way. Rather than telling you what you “should” do, I help you identify your own reasons for wanting change and work through any uncertainty that may be holding you back. Through open-ended questions, reflection, and collaboration, we build on your strengths and help you feel more confident in making changes that are meaningful and realistic for your life.
