Hiiii, I became a mental health provider because I do not think anyone should suffer through their adversities in silence. I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker. I currently work in the DMV area as a travel social worker and enjoy working part-time as an outpatient therapist. I look forward to working with you as we embark on your healing journey together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll discuss the specific concerns that brought you to therapy. We will collaborate on your particular goals and how I can assist you in reaching them. We will also discuss therapy expectations and what you can expect from the therapeutic process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my greatest strength as a provider is my diversity and willingness support and help others; while learning from the individuals I work with. My strength and passion comes from watching the progress my clients make, and the confidence they build during the therapeutic process as they accomplish their goals.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize solution-focused therapy to help clients identify their overall goals and create measurable tasks/objectives to meet said goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help my clients reframe their thought processes or how they view things to help in changing behaviors.

Strength-Based

Stength-based treatment modalities are utilized to help clients identify their strengths, abilities, and positive attributes which helps in managing mental health symptoms and overall well-being.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing uses multiple techniques to help facilitate open-ended conversations. These techniques help allow clients to feel comfortable in opening up about concerns bringing them to therapy.
