I am a licensed clinical therapist who believes everyone deserves a balanced, happy, and healthy life. I hold the strong belief that everyone deserves to be heard with an open-mind, regardless of background or history. I believe that absolutely everyone deserves help. I operate from a stance of non-judgment and want all of my clients to feel comfortable and safe in therapy. My utmost goal as a therapist is for my clients to feel they have control of their own treatment. I work with my clients to build a better quality of life and to improve overall wellbeing.
During the first session my goal is to get to know and to build a foundation of trust and rapport. I will ask questions related to what brings you to therapy and will collaborate with you on identifying a direction and goals.
I find my greatest strength lies in my ability to meet clients where they are. I work very hard to make sure clients feel they are comfortable and in control of their treatment. I find myself to be a very empathetic and understanding person. I am extremely non-judgmental and see the client beyond their negative behaviors or their negative view of themselves.
I work best with clients who recognize a need for change. Even if you are not in the space where you feel confident making that change. So, someone who recognizes a need for change even if they do not want to make that change. I work best with clients who may feel misunderstood or perhaps like they do not deserve help. I am best positioned to work with those who are wanting to gain a better understanding of themselves. This can be things such as identifying challenging emotions or working to build authenticity.
I am extensively trained in utilization of DBT, both as an individual and a practitioner. I feel many of these core concepts are crucial in maintaining a sustainable mindset. I will teach and discuss DBT skills as appropriate.
I have worked with many individuals struggling with trauma. I aim to collaborate with clients on identifying unhealthy coping patterns and processing through related emotions.
I have incorporated psychoeducation into my practice solely because for many individuals it is incredibly difficult to process through what they do not understand. I feel it is extremely important for one to have an understanding of concepts which impact them physically and mentally. One cannot solve problems they themselves do not understand.
Mindfulness is a core attribute one must acquire to be able to fully engage and grow in therapy. I work to help clients build self-awareness, understand their emotions, and gain a better understanding of the world around them.
I work with clients to take stock of both factors that are negatively impacting them in their lives and gain insight into which of these factors are in their control. Together I work with clients to problem solve these areas, thus alleviating present stressors.

Taylor is exactly who I was looking for in a therapist. She is void of judgment and encouraging of me rediscovering myself. She doesn’t just listen but engages in conversations and points out different perspectives. The way she helps frame my opportunities for growth resonates perfectly for me and my mental health journey.

Therapy can be so hard for so many people but I have felt so comfortable and safe since day one. They're super funny and they understand me really well. I tend to need to talk a lot and listen a little with my therapy approach and they have always adapted to what I need, given me the space to talk, and also provided so much comfort and insight when needed. I really enjoy therapy with Taylor and am excited for my next session.
