New to Grow
My philosophy as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, challenges, and hopes while moving toward meaningful change. Rooted in a person-centered approach, I believe therapy should honor each individual’s unique values and strengths, empowering them to take steps that align with their goals. Together, we work to build resilience, foster growth, and create pathways toward a life that feels purposeful, balanced, and worth living.
In your first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and exploring what brings you to therapy, along with some background information that helps provide context for your journey. Together, we’ll begin discussing your vision of a well-balanced and fulfilling life, while also identifying the strengths, values, and perspectives you bring as your whole self. This session is also a space for you to ask questions, clarify expectations, and start building a foundation of trust and collaboration as we move forward.
As a therapist, my strengths lie in creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I bring a collaborative approach to care, working alongside clients to set meaningful goals and explore pathways to growth. My commitment to providing a non-judgmental environment allows clients to show up authentically, fostering trust and openness as we navigate challenges and build on strengths together.
My ideal clients are individuals who are navigating life’s challenges and seeking support in building resilience and confidence as they move forward. I especially enjoy working with clients who are motivated to strengthen a growth mindset—those open to self-reflection, curious about exploring new perspectives, and willing to practice skills that promote personal development. Whether facing stress, transitions, or deeper concerns, I aim to support clients in uncovering their strengths and using them as tools for lasting change.
In practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build awareness of the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that drive their decisions and habits. By identifying the automatic thoughts and underlying assumptions that influence behavior, clients can better understand the cycle that keeps them stuck. CBT provides practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking, experiment with new responses, and create healthier habits. Through this process, clients learn not only what shapes their choices but also how to revamp the cycle, fostering more intentional decision-making and lasting change.
