Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Richmond, VA with over 12 years of experience in private practice. My background prior to private practice was in criminal justice, interpersonal violence and career counseling. I currently love helping others find out who they are and how to be the best versions of themself. I also have 3 small dogs who love to make appearances on camera and/or in person.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will do some brief introductions and take some time to get to know each other. The goal is to make you feel as comfortable and safe as possible in order to dive deeper into what brings you into therapy. Insurance dictates that we answer specific questions and you can answer however you are comfortable.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients can expect to leave sessions with me feeling heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I focus on creating a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where humor and authenticity are embraced, helping clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. This approach fosters trust and openness, setting the stage for growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma and developed harmful coping strategies to survive, but are now ready to create meaningful change in their lives. I also have a deep commitment to supporting first responders, healthcare professionals, teachers, and caretakers—those in roles that can often feel isolating and overwhelming—by helping them feel seen, supported, and connected.
