New to Grow
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and major life transitions—especially those who are used to holding everything together for everyone else. In therapy, we approach your story like a collaborative puzzle: you bring the pieces, and together we make sense of the bigger picture so you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and grow. I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and chronic life stress by offering a warm, practical, and personalized space for reflection and healing. My approach blends compassion with actionable strategies, helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and looking for a therapist who understands the pressure of balancing work, relationships, and daily responsibilities, I’m here to help you move toward clarity and calm.
In our first session, we’ll focus on building a strong working relationship. I’ll learn what brought you to therapy, what’s worked before, and how I can best support you as we explore your needs and set a path forward together.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where clients feel understood and supported. I bring over a decade of experience, a calm and steady presence, and a practical approach that helps people make sense of their thoughts and emotions. I’m skilled at helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, and major life transitions by blending empathy with clear, actionable guidance. Clients often share that I help them slow down, gain clarity, and feel more empowered to create meaningful change.
I support adults navigating life’s transitions. From students finding their footing, to professionals balancing success and burnout, to parents holding it all together. My work centers the lived experiences of Black women, offering a therapeutic environment rooted in validation, rest, empowerment, and culturally responsive care. All adults seeking balance, emotional clarity, and meaningful change are welcome in this space.
I use CBT as a treatment method to help my clients learn to explore alternatives to their negative thinking patterns. By replacing negative thoughts with more neutral ones, we can come up with a reframe that encourages better behaviors.
