Hi, I'm glad you're here. I work with adults and adolescents who experience emotion dysregulation, chronic anxiety or overwhelm, relationship conflict, impulsive or self-defeating behaviors, trauma-related emotional reactivity, and with emotional regulation. My approach is active and collaborative. We work together to understand patterns, practice new skills, and apply them to real-life situations. In addition, I work with parents and couples.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be an opportunity to begin to get to know each other. I will ask for some basic demographic information, and ask questions to begin to understand what is currently happening in your life, what you want to work on and if there is time, a bit about your background.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My goal is for every client to leave therapy feeling more empowered, self-aware and equipped with the tools they can use in daily life. Sessions are supportive yet structured. I help clients experience greater clarity, confidence and emotional stability. Clients have reported improved relationships, healthier limits and a stronger sense of alignment between their values and behaviors.

I work best with someone who is ready to change - even if they are unsure where to start. They may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious or navigating a life transition, and they are open to exploring patterns, building insight and developing practical tools for growth.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I am an intensively trained DBT therapist with over 20 years of experience. I help people learn to regulate their emotions more effectively, change unwanted maladaptive behaviors, improve relationships and create a life more in line with their values. This treatment is the Gold standard of the treatment of emotion dysregulation disorders.
Prolonged Exposure Therapy
I have 10 years of experience helping people reduce their symptoms of PTSD and return to living a life that feels more fulfilling. This is a highly effective treatment for PTSD.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I have been providing ACT for over 5 years and it helps a wide array of presenting problems including OCD, depression, anxiety, trauma related symptoms, stress, grief and many more difficulties.
Gottman method
I am trained in Gottman Method and am also a Certified Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work and Bringing Baby Home Trainer. I work with couples to improve marital satisfaction by helping to improve the ways in which they communicate. This promotes healthier behaviors, including being able to discuss conflict in a more effective way.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
I work with people struggling with OCD through the use of exposure techniques and helping people learn to relate to compulsive urges more effectively. ERP is the Gold Standard treatment for OCD.
