Hello, My name is Stacey Strehle, a Licensed Professional Counselor providing online therapy across the state of Pennsylvania. I have been working in the mental health field since 2002 and have experience working with children, adults, and families in a variety of settings. In my practice, I believe that everyone is unique, and therapy should be personalized to meet you where you are and utilize your strengths and experiences so that we can work towards your goals. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your story. While integrating evidence-based techniques into my sessions, I also focus on you as a whole person addressing the mind and the body so that you can achieve your goals, increase your confidence and feel empowered in your daily life. I am accepting and compassionate to all and can provide faith-based counseling at your request.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you better and learn about your life, experiences, and interests. It’s also an opportunity for you to see my style of therapy, which is relaxed, conversational, but still goal-oriented. It’s important that you feel comfortable with a therapist. If you don’t feel like we connect in our first session, please let me know, and I’d be happy to help you find the right therapist. Therapy is all about you, and I want to create a safe environment for you to focus on reaching your goals.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I believe in treating each person as an individual. I use a person-centered approach to help you feel equipped and empowered to face the challenges that brought you to counseling. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, so I’ll mix and match different methods to find what works best for you. I use various techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). That means I treat the whole person, mind, body, and soul. I like to be flexible in my treatment so I can better support you and your unique needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m really good at helping people feel safe and comfortable sharing their stories. I want you to know that you can be yourself and that we’ll work together to achieve your goals. I value your time and want to make sure that everyone, no matter what brings you to therapy, feels seen, heard, and supported on their journey of self-discovery.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Individuals aged 7 and above, including teenagers, young adults, adults, and children, who demonstrate a willingness to acquire new skills, enhance their knowledge and self-awareness, and aspire to personal growth and self-improvement.
