I am a fully licensed therapist with four years of experience serving clients in a highly demanding setting. I feel confident when working with clients who are experiencing insecurity, shame, and disconnection; I greatly enjoy helping them re-connect with themselves and their loved ones through exploration of their life story and inner voice. I am also experienced in providing support to couples and parents seeking a way to restore harmony to their households.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is spent gathering background information including your current goals, family history, and unique experiences that make you you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have experience using techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have been described as warm, open, compassionate, and easy-to-talk-to.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who often feels as though they are watching their life move by without them. They feel as though others have a guide book they did not receive, and much of their time is spent trying to figure out what is "wrong" with them. All I ask is that my clients have an open mind and an inkling of hope that they do not have to spend the rest of their lives feeling this way.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based methods to help clients address shame, insecurity, and disconnection through exploration of their attachment to early life figures, role in their family of origin, and unmet childhood needs.

Family Therapy

I have training in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and enjoy using it to support parents of children experiencing hardship (adoption, foster care, trauma, developmental disabilities, etc.).
