Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to start to understand your goals for therapy. It is important to me that you feel comfortable and that I am a fit for you as well, and it is an opportunity for you to ask me questions as well.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Each person comes with their own individual strengths, and I enjoy helping clients recognize the strengths they possess already and building on them to meet their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I currently work with clients who are young adults-older adults. I have worked with clients experiencing, anxiety, depression, school issues, work issues, major illness, and those dealing with significant life changes/transitions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of a few modalities I have used in my practice with clients. CBT is a goal oriented approach towards therapy where we will look at and explore the connections between emotions, thoughts and behaviors, while providing tools to manage emotions and thoughts.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT can help clients accept challenging situations in their lives instead of avoiding them. Using mindfulness skills and staying focused don the present moment accepting thoughts and feelings without judgment clients learn to adapt to challenges and live a meaningful life.
