Hello, and welcome. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve been carrying a lot on your own. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or simply wanting things to feel more manageable again. My goal is to offer a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing. I take a collaborative, supportive approach to therapy and work to meet you where you are. Together, we focus on understanding patterns, building emotional awareness, and developing practical tools that help you feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. Therapy with me is not about judgment or pressure—it’s about clarity, growth, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work toward. There’s no right or wrong way to begin, and no expectation to share everything all at once. Some people prefer to start slowly and build trust, while others feel ready to dive in right away—both are completely okay. I’ll answer your questions, help you understand what therapy can look like moving forward, and collaborate with you on next steps. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more at ease about the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a calm, grounded space where clients feel safe enough to be honest with themselves. I balance warmth and compassion with structure and practical guidance, helping clients gain insight while also learning tools they can use outside of sessions. I pay close attention to patterns of emotional, relational, and generational to support clients in making sense of how those patterns affect their current lives. Clients often share that therapy feels both supportive and purposeful, helping them feel more confident, steady, and empowered over time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about themselves or their direction. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or feeling misunderstood by others. They are often thoughtful and self-aware, but need support sorting through emotions, patterns, and next steps. I am especially well-suited for individuals who want therapy to feel supportive, practical, and grounded—where insight and skill-building go hand in hand. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build confidence, and move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) across a range of clinical settings, including school-based and outpatient therapy with adolescents, adults, and families. I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. In my work, CBT focuses on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and building practical coping skills that support emotional regulation, problem-solving, and everyday functioning. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and flexible, helping clients develop tools they can use both in and outside of sessions to create meaningful, sustainable change.

Couples Counseling

I work with couples to strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and improve how partners navigate conflict. My approach focuses on helping couples better understand relationship patterns, increase emotional awareness, and build practical skills for managing disagreements in healthier, more respectful ways. Sessions are collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on fostering trust, empathy, and shared goals to support long-term relationship growth.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in exploring ambivalence, strengthening motivation, and identifying meaningful steps toward change. This approach is client-centered and collaborative, helping individuals clarify their values, build confidence, and move forward at a pace that feels achievable. In my practice, MI is often integrated with other therapeutic approaches to support self-efficacy, autonomy, and lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT-informed strategies to help clients build skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach supports clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and responding to challenges in healthier ways. In my practice, DBT skills are introduced in a practical, supportive manner and tailored to each client’s goals, strengths, and readiness for change.

Family Therapy

I approach family therapy from a family systems perspective, focusing on how relationships, roles, and patterns within the family impact each individual. I also help families explore how generational experiences and learned patterns can influence current dynamics and long-term relationships. Sessions are collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on improving communication, strengthening boundaries, and fostering healthier interactions. My goal is to help families build on existing strengths and work together toward positive, sustainable change.
