I am a licensed therapist who specializes in coaching people with using effective tools to have clarity of mind, enhance relationships, communication, mood, and problem solving skills. I believe the therapeutic relationship is what leads to the best outcomes. So I will ensure you feel safe talking with me. Feeling safe allows for openness to process thoughts and feelings, which then leads to healing. My approach to therapy is having a natural conversation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First, I would like to clarify expectations of each other. I would like to know what you expect therapy to be like and what you want to get out of it. I will review your history with you and seek clarity to get to know who you are. Next, we will work towards getting to the source of what you want to transform and how to transform it. I will provide assignments in between sessions because the magic happens in your life outside of sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is in being able to identify barriers and finding ways to break those barriers to have you get to the next level. You can change things about you and you may grow. However, there is something special when you transform into a new you. Imagine the best version of you that transforms your life and others around you. Many of my clients have seen results in a few sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

You will learn how to change negative thoughts into balanced and productive thoughts. You will see how your thoughts and beliefs impact your mood and behavior. You will learn how to change thoughts and beliefs to have a clearer mind that will lead to a life you want to live, improve your mood, focus, be present and have more positive and healthier thoughts.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

You will learn effective DBT skills to manage your emotions and thoughts in sessions. I give assignments for you to practice the skills in between sessions to apply them in your life. It is then that you will make progress happen with your mood, thoughts, and relationships.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe you are the expert in your life. Within you is your greatness. I will guide you to experience it, tap into this source independently, and self actualize.
