I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently licensed in Pennsylvania. I graduated from Adelphi University in 2009 and have been providing psychotherapy for over 15 years. I believe in taking a whole health approach and work with a wide range of issues impacting children, teens, adults, and families. For some, it may be feeling overwhelmed with change or transition, for others it may be suffering from a trauma or grief. Whatever it is that led you to seek therapy, we will approach it together in a safe and collaborative way.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session, I want to provide the space for you to share what brought you to therapy and challenges you are currently facing. From this initial assessment, we will work collaboratively to tailor treatment to your values, needs and goals and achieve rapid, meaningful results.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients describe me as warm, compassionate, and relatable. I believe in the therapy relationship as integral to change and the importance of meeting clients where they are at. I feel privileged to do this work and guiding people toward desired change and fulfillment.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients across the life span. Whatever age or stage of life you are in, we will work collaboratively to work towards the goals that are most important to you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been providing mindfulness- and exposure-based cognitive behavioral therapies for generalized anxiety, traumatic anxiety, panic anxiety, depression and emotion regulation problems for over 15 years. This approach has helped those I work with be able to tune into thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations in a non judgmental way, identify thought-feeling-behavioral patterns, and develop coping strategies for emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.

Mind-body approach

I take a holistic approach , helping individuals identify the unique ways the mind and body interact , as a way to promote overall wellness. I help individuals tune into their internal experience, recognizing the ways stress effects the body.

Trauma Informed Care

I take a trauma informed strength based approach to help individuals develop skills and confidence that work towards healing and growth.
