Hi, I’m Brittany, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by the demands of daily life. If you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly juggling responsibilities, work, relationships, family, and personal expectations, yet still feel like you’re falling short, you’re not alone. Many people carry the invisible load of pressure, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and perfectionism while quietly struggling beneath the surface. My work centers on supporting individuals who are tired of feeling like they are just going through the motions. You may find yourself constantly questioning your decisions, experiencing anxiety, or feeling disconnected from who you are outside of your roles and responsibilities. I am passionate about helping clients slow down, step out of autopilot, and reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way. In therapy, we work together to identify and shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck, such as difficulty setting boundaries, people-pleasing, or engaging in unhelpful thought patterns. I support clients in building self-awareness, developing healthier coping strategies, and strengthening self-trust and confidence. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. You deserve a space where you can feel supported, understood, and free to explore what’s beneath the surface. Therapy is not about “fixing” you. It is about helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and aligned with who you are. If you are ready to begin the process of healing and growth, I am here to support you every step of the way.
In the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and creating a comfortable space for open conversation. We’ll talk about what brought you into counseling, your goals, and any expectations you have for the process. I’ll also ask questions to learn more about you so we can create an individualized plan that will guide our work together in future sessions.
I understand how difficult it can feel to carry everything on your own, especially when it seems like no one else fully sees or understands what you are going through. One of my greatest strengths as a provider is creating a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and show up as you are without judgment. My goal is for you to feel safe enough to be real while also feeling supported as you begin to make sense of your experiences. With experience in inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, from moments of crisis to everyday stressors such as anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I take a holistic, client-centered approach, meaning our work together is tailored to your unique needs and what you are experiencing in the moment. I utilize approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic techniques to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, while also building practical tools to manage what you are going through. In our work together, the focus is not only on coping, but on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. You do not have to have everything figured out. We will work together at a pace that feels right for you, supporting your growth in a way that feels meaningful and manageable.
I work with adults who are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, and stress related to life transitions, relationships, work, or family dynamics. Many of the clients I support feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their direction, and may struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing patterns, or difficulty setting and maintaining boundaries. I also have experience supporting individuals who are managing emotional regulation difficulties, low self-esteem, and the pressure of meeting internal or external expectations. These concerns may present as chronic worry, guilt, burnout, or feeling like they are not where they “should be” in life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I utilize interventions to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, build insight, and develop practical coping strategies to manage distress and improve overall functioning. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at their own pace. My goal is to help clients build confidence, strengthen boundaries, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. During sessions, I guide clients in recognizing negative thinking patterns, developing more balanced thoughts, and building coping skills to manage emotional distress.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use Person-Centered Therapy by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and accepted. I support their self-discovery and growth by showing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. My goal with this approach is to empower clients to explore their experiences and make meaningful changes at their own pace.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore and work through mixed feelings about making changes. By asking open-ended questions, affirming their strengths, and reflecting their thoughts, I help clients strengthen their own motivation and commitment to positive change. I found this treatment method to be beneficial when working with clients with substance misuse.
Narrative
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore and reframe the stories they tell about themselves and their lives. By identifying main, often problem-focused narratives, I support clients in uncovering alternative stories that highlight their strengths, values, and resilience. This process empowers them to see themselves in a new light and create more hopeful paths forward.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients focus on their strengths and find practical solutions to their challenges. We work together to identify small, achievable steps that can lead to positive change, emphasizing progress rather than problems. This approach encourages clients to build on what’s already working in their lives and move toward their goals with confidence.
