Hi, I’m Brittany, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping women who feel disconnected from themselves and overwhelmed by the weight of life’s demands. If you’ve ever felt like you’re constantly juggling family, friendships, work, and relationships—yet still feeling like you’re falling short—you’re not alone. So many women carry the invisible load of expectations, people-pleasing, and perfectionism while struggling quietly under the surface. My work centers around supporting women who are tired of feeling like they’re just going through the motions. Maybe you're constantly questioning yourself, battling anxiety masked by a smile, or losing sight of who you are outside of your roles. I find deep meaning in helping women slow down, step out of autopilot, and reconnect with the part of themselves that’s been buried under self-doubt and the constant noise of everyday life. In therapy, we work together to uncover patterns that no longer serve you, like people-pleasing or struggling to say "no" without guilt. I guide clients in learning how to set and maintain healthy boundaries, rewrite the internal narratives that fuel anxiety, and build self-trust and confidence. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply rooted in helping you feel seen, heard, and empowered. You deserve a space to exhale, explore who you are beneath the surface, and discover clarity in the chaos. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you reconnect with your strength and reclaim the life you want to live. If you’re ready to begin the journey of healing and self-discovery, I’m here to walk alongside you.
In the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and creating a comfortable space for open conversation. We’ll talk about what brought you into counseling, your goals, and any expectations you have for the process. I’ll also ask questions to learn more about you so we can create an individualized plan that will guide our work together in future sessions.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My diverse experience across inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings has equipped me to work with a wide range of challenges, from severe mental health crises to everyday stressors like anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I bring a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. With training in CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic approaches, I help clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward at their own pace.
I enjoy working with young adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety, especially those who feel like they’re falling behind or not meeting life’s expectations. These clients often feel overwhelmed by pressure, self-doubt, or uncertainty about their future. I help them explore their experiences with compassion, identify their strengths, and develop tools to manage their emotions. My goal is to support them in building confidence and creating a life that feels more balanced and meaningful.
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. During sessions, I guide clients in recognizing negative thinking patterns, developing more balanced thoughts, and building coping skills to manage emotional distress.
I use Person-Centered Therapy by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and accepted. I support their self-discovery and growth by showing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. My goal with this approach is to empower clients to explore their experiences and make meaningful changes at their own pace.
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore and work through mixed feelings about making changes. By asking open-ended questions, affirming their strengths, and reflecting their thoughts, I help clients strengthen their own motivation and commitment to positive change. I found this treatment method to be beneficial when working with clients with substance misuse.
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore and reframe the stories they tell about themselves and their lives. By identifying main, often problem-focused narratives, I support clients in uncovering alternative stories that highlight their strengths, values, and resilience. This process empowers them to see themselves in a new light and create more hopeful paths forward.
I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients focus on their strengths and find practical solutions to their challenges. We work together to identify small, achievable steps that can lead to positive change, emphasizing progress rather than problems. This approach encourages clients to build on what’s already working in their lives and move toward their goals with confidence.
