New to Grow
I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist who works with individuals seeking support, growth, and meaningful change. I serve clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, meeting them where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I help clients build insight, resilience, and practical skills that can create lasting, positive impact in their daily lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of safety and trust. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions you have, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. The next couple sessions we’ll focus on diving deeper to get a clear understanding of what’s been going on for you—your concerns, experiences, and goals—so I can make an accurate, working assessment. Based on that understanding, we’ll then collaborate to create a therapy plan that feels right for you and supports what you want to change.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the way I blend evidence-based methods with a deeply client-centered, strengths-focused perspective. I tailor treatment to each person, creating a collaborative, trauma-informed space that feels safe, practical, and empowering. As a result, clients often gain greater self-awareness, confidence, and effective tools they can use to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals who are open to self-reflection and motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives, even when the process feels challenging. They value collaboration, are curious about understanding themselves more deeply, and are ready to build healthier patterns that support their goals and well-being.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a solution-focused approach that emphasizes your goals and the changes you want to see, rather than spending extensive time on problems. We work together to identify what’s already helping, explore small, achievable steps, and build on your existing strengths. This approach is practical, hopeful, and designed to help you notice progress and momentum quickly.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the impact past experiences may have on your thoughts, emotions, and sense of safety. I prioritize creating a supportive, respectful environment where you feel in control, heard, and never rushed. Together, we work at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on healing, resilience, and restoring a sense of empowerment.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach that focuses on what’s already working and the qualities you bring with you into therapy. Together, we identify your skills, resilience, and past successes, and use them as building blocks for growth and change. This approach helps you feel empowered and confident while working toward goals that matter most to you.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
In my practice, I use a person-centered approach that puts you—your goals, values, and lived experience—at the heart of the work we do together. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we move at your pace and build on your strengths, not just your challenges. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes that align with who you are.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We work together to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to challenge unhelpful thinking and build healthier coping skills. CBT is collaborative and goal-focused, giving you tools you can use both in and outside of sessions to support lasting change.
