New to Grow
Hi, I'm Paige, a licensed therapist that aims to help people feel supported, grounded, and empowered. My approach to therapy is warm and compassionate, while using evidence-based methods to help you find healing. I use a relaxed, accepting style that means you where you are. I believe we all have strengths that we can draw in on to help us overcome adversity.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be an intake session where I briefly go over confidentiality and the therapy process. We will focus in detail on your history, as you are ready. Together, we will set goals for therapy.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I build meaningful relationships with my clients, which is shown to be the biggest indicator of progress in therapy. People tend to feel comfortable with me quickly as I keep therapy down-to-earth and supportive.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I specialize in anxiety, OCD, trauma, self-doubt, and relationship stress, and I work with teens and adults.
Strength-Based
Strengths-based, help clients draw in on their strengths to overcome adversity.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. Sometimes, when we can tweak our thoughts or our behaviors, we start to feel better.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
When we feel anxious, we want to avoid. However, when we do the opposite and expose ourselves (gradually) to anxieties, they actually start to subside.
Attachment-based
Our attachment says so much about us - how we are in relationships, and how we view the world. Understanding ourselves from an attachment perspective can bring a powerful awareness. We can also find ways to work towards a more secure attachment if necessary.
