(she/her)
For more than five years, I've helped clients work through anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, and significant life changes including pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, bullying in school, and new career choices. I currently work at Mass General Brigham as a Complex Care Social Worker, supporting adults coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex medical conditions. I am passionate about individualizing therapy to make sure every session is best for the client.
In our first session, we will get to know each other and figure out your goals for therapy. What brought you here and what do you want to gain from our time together? This space is for you and I am honored to be a part of your wellness journey!
I am experienced working with addiction, anxiety, depression, life transitions, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. I have a specialized certificate from Tulane University for Mental Health, Addiction and the Family. I hold a specialized certificate as a CCTP, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and have experience working with clients with trauma and PTSD.
I am best positioned to work with clients going through career changes or life transitions, those struggling with anxiety, and parents who are pregnant or postpartum. I have over 5 years of experience working with adults struggling with mental health diagnoses and would love to begin working with you on your wellness and healing journey. Clients come to my practice for talk therapy and for assistance creating solution-focused goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT with clients to show how our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected. Through activities like identifying negative thoughts and practicing positive responses, clients will learn new coping mechanisms to improve their emotional well-being and behavior.
Motivational Interviewing
I focus on listening, asking open questions, and supporting my clients to explore their feelings and goals. My goal is to help clients identify their reasons for change and strengthening their confidence to take action.
