Hi! I'm Anna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Being a human can be hard and exhausting, so I'm happy you're here looking for support. I received my Master's from the University of Denver and have been practicing for over 20 years. My passion lies in helping teens and adults feel validated and empowered to handle life's challenges with grace and resilience. Throughout my career, I've supported people through PTSD, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, sexual identity, gender expression, relationship issues, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and adoption.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I know there is often resistance to being vulnerable, especially with a stranger. I consider it a great privilege for you to share your challenges, and my intention is to create a warm, nonjudgmental and safe environment to do so. In our first session, we'll work together to create a plan that supports your therapy goals. In my opinion, the therapeutic relationship is more important than my techniques, education, background, etc. Therefore, I encourage direct feedback in order to implement the most effective treatment for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is client-centered and collaborative. We may use Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as other evidenced-based approaches, like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques. My practice is guided by the belief that there is not just one way to heal - in addition to evidenced based traditional therapies, I may also suggest yoga, reiki, breathwork or other alternative ways to heal. Together, we will focus on building self-awareness and develop strategies to achieve your goals.

These are unprecedented times and many people are feeling more isolated, anxious, overwhelmed, and exhausted than ever. Perhaps you've even tried (or are considering) a psychedelic medicine journey. If you are ready for some relief, together we can develop strategies to ease your anxieties to help you feel more grounded and secure. In the case of medicine work, I can help you prepare for your journey, or help you integrate the insights gained from a journey.
