Are you an individual or couple seeking to repair past traumas or repair habits that are not conducive to you living your best, most healthy life? What about your current relationships? Perhaps you are single and seeking a loving partner but unintentionally choose the wrong people based on the above? Or maybe you are married, but there are more pointed issues that you and/or your partner just can't seem to move beyond. Let me assist you in becoming the best version of YOU while showing you how to create the relationships you want. You will learn how to receive the love you deserve while also learning to love others in a healthy way. Hello, Beautiful People, I'm Mia Malika. I primarily work with people healing from unresolved traumas, couples, and individuals seeking insight into their relationships and themselves as individual contributors to their relationships. While I work with people from many backgrounds, I am seeing an uptick in male clientele seeking healing as well - and I love it! In addition, I assist people in processing trauma, unresolved grief, sexual infidelity or dysfunction, abuse & many other things that come to the surface during and after relationships. Anais Nin once said, "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." It's time to see things "as they are." What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I am constantly reinventing and rebranding myself in order to grow into the best version of myself. This is something I think we should all do when we hit a wall - reinvent! And the truth is, when you enter therapy with me, you will learn to be the very best "you" possible. Successfully accomplishing this takes reinventing your thoughts, ideals, and how you process. In therapy, you literally are who you say you are. Now who are YOU? That's up to you, but I would personally love to be a part of the breakthrough. I'm so glad you stopped by, I look forward to getting to know you ;-)

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My therapeutic approach is a combination of both freestyle and structured support. This allows you a safe space free from judgment while allowing transparency, honesty, and freedom of self - even in the presence of a partner. This allows you to begin understanding the patterns that unintentionally sabotage your happiness. It's time to invest in yourself, your relationships, and your future. Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've grown up and received my education, work, and life experience amongst some of the most diverse populations around the world. Thus, I pride myself on being understanding, empathetic, patient, and mindful of my clients from ALL backgrounds. Just about every ethnic group is able to relate to issues very specific to them in love and marriage, discrimination, religious bias, generational trauma, trauma experienced from the womb (yes, there too), discriminatory immigration policies, police violence, and the overall current climate of women being treated as even less than second-class citizens. I'm very deliberate about whom I serve.
