(she/her)
Nice to Meet You! I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about breaking down stigma and improving access to mental health care services. I achieved my BSN from SUNY Brockport, MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from UNC-Chapel Hill and Post- Master's, Psychiatirc Nurse Practitioner degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. For the past 20 plus years I have had the privilege of working as a nurse practitioner, accompanying patients and their families toward optimal physical and mental wellbeing.
Fostering trust and a warm connection, initial visits will consist of a comprehensive interview and creating a mutually agreed upon treatment plan. Recommendations for medication and lifestyle strategies will be provided based on each individuals unique set of needs and circumstances to promote optimal mental health and well being.
I aim to assist individuals with becoming the best versions of themselves by incorporating a combination of medication management, education on healthy coping strategies, promoting self awareness and fostering resilience and confidence.
I specialize in treating common mental health conditions across the lifespan. I enjoy working with individuals living with Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Autism, Postpartum Depression, PTSD and PMDD.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Routinely help clients identify negative thought patterns and behaviors which may be affecting their quality of life. Once identified, challenge negative thoughts and actions while suggesting new habits and ways of thinking to promote optimal mental health. CBT helps clients become the best versions of themselves.
Faith based therapy
Regularly assess client’s personal values, goals, and spiritual or religious belief system to incorporate into treatment plan. Faith based therapy often facilitates healing and personal growth.
